Wi-Fi at home
When using a Chromebook at home, it is important to make sure you are properly connected to the internet.
The first step is to click on the time, located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
After clicking the time, you will be given a number of options, but the one we are interested in is the network button, located in the upper left, below the "Sign out" button.
When you click on the network button, you will be given a list of all the wi-fi networks that are within range of the Chromebook. The strongest connections will be located at the top of the list. This is where you are most likely to find your home's wi-fi network.
Most home wi-fi networks require a security key or password to connect to the internet. If you select your network and it requires a password, a window will open that gives you the option to input it. Enter the network's password and click "connect."
