My name is Bradley Knight and I am the new school counselor at Heritage Elementary. I am a local Ogden citizen who loves getting involved with local activities, including the Ogden Farmer’s Market and exploring the local hiking trails. I attended Weber State University for my undergraduate degree and earned my master’s degree through the University of Phoenix.
My experience comes from over ten years working with at-risk youth. I have helped many struggling students feel competent to overcome hard life situations, and I hope to help our students at Heritage obtain the skills and confidence to effectively navigate their growing educational careers and personal lives. I will be presenting a variety of lessons in the classrooms on topics such as resiliency, college and career planning, and emotions. I hope to post on each topic, so watch for future updates on what our students are learning and how you can get involved with links and ideas. On that note, I am including a list of possible questions to ask your students after they return from school promote engagement and reflection.
My office is just inside the main office at Heritage Elementary. Keep an eye out for me when visiting our school. I would love to meet each parent and guardian so we can work together for your student’s success.
